The Kimchi Diet

I am a 26 year old former fattie elementary school teacher living in Scotland (previously Seoul, South Korea).

I am currently following the Weight Watchers Program, hoping to kickstart a life of health and greater happiness.

I am training for a Tough Mudder in Toronto on September 28th.

Starting Weight: 161 lbs
Current Weight: 156 lbs

I found a baby mouse next to its dead mother in my backyard 5 days ago. It was just a few hours old and I couldn’t leave it there to die.

I googled how to foster baby mice, sought help from an animal hospital, friends and nursed it every three hours with a tiny syringe. I kept it warm using a lamp, towels and room temperature.

I came home on my lunch yesterday to feed it and it died in my hands. I went back to work and sobbed uncontrollably.

Four days with that baby mouse taught me a lot about my nurturing side, comments from others and how to love even more.

RIP Mighty Mouse.

Yesterday was my birthday. Man, I didn’t want to make a huge deal of it, but I felt special all day through!

Good morning so far. Smashed an hour at the gym, played with my horse-puppy, and had a healthy breakfast all before 7 am.

This morning’s breakfast: instant oats (4), tea with milk (1/2c split between the oatmeal and tea) and sugar (2) and a banana (0).

Also I earned 4 APs at the gym.

Tinder

I am literally howling to myself right now. There are tears of laughter.

I just got a Tinder account to see what the fuss was all about. Within about 30 minutes I had a couple of messages. I replied with the general chit chat…then this gem…

Him: Whats ur number?

Me: I think its a little early for that. Sorry!

Him: haha are you a nice or naughty girl?

Me: Oh I get it. I’m a really dirty girl. I’m so dirty that I’m going to go take a shower right now. Peace.
